Functional Mental Health Therapy focuses on helping clients get to the root cause of their mental health problems by using integrative approaches to treatment such as nutrition support and optimization using the current functional medicine research, vitamin supplementation, sustainable lifestyle changes, sleep health, establishing movement routines, stress management and weight optimization. Research shows that by using an integrative approach to treating mental health issues, the patient/client will not only see symptom reduction more quickly ,but the results will last much longer. At Restoring Minds Counseling, we will use an integrative approach in addition to traditional therapies such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy),Gestalt, ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy) and many other modalities depending on the client’s individual needs.
